Meet Alastair

Breed: Frizzle Polish     Egg Color: n/a (Because he’s a rooster!)

I can still remember the first day Alastair arrived. Before he came all the hens seemed timid and stayed near the coop. After Alastair arrived they have begun to spread out and explore the area.

When I talked to the hens about this change in their behavior they all had something to say. One said, “That Alastair, the minute he arrived he took over and was so strong and commanding! I felt safer right away. I knew he’d take care of me.” Another said, “He is so handsome and exotic! I just find him to be such a handsome rooster.” A couple others stated, “Upon arrival his strong, powerful crow said he was the new boss. I knew we would always be safe.”

For the way he loves and protects the hens in his care, we have chosen Alastair to be a Featured Employee.
