Meet Jane

Breed: Red Comet     Egg Color: Brown

Jane is a quiet, unassuming hen and faithfully lays an egg each day. She is one of those chickens that may be easily overlooked but Penelope and Ethel have both recommended her for Employee of the Month. From Ethel I heard, “She’s so self-reliant and dedicated. I just wanted to bring her to your attention.” While Penelope was more blunt, “Look at her, she’s awesome!”

When I told Jane that she had been nominated by the other hens she was almost embarrassed to have been noticed, “No, no. I’m just doing my job.”

Because of her modest, shy demeanor we are proud to make Jane a Featured Employee.
