Meet Emily

Breed: Americana     Egg Color: Blue-green

Come rain or shine, Emily fulfills her given duties. She hears the truck pull up and knows that it is time to do her job.

Emily the Americana is our feed steward. She checks each bag for quality and making sure the feed is up to Trent Family Farms standards. She is also the sommelier for all the coops on the farm. I was talking to the Farm Manager, Edgar, yesterday and he said, “That girl is something else, I go up to check on the new feed shipment and she is always there ahead of me. I don’t know what I’d do without her.”

So, because of her dedication to her job and the quality of her work, we choose Emily to be a Featured Employee.
